Life stands before me like an eternal spring with new and brilliant clothes.

Sunshine has graced the vines at TERO Estates and Flying Trout Wines. While we’d love to sit on the deck and listen to the pheasants flutter and frogs croak with a chilled bottle of torrontes, it ain’t gonna happen. Speaking of torrontes – it’s been flying out the door with the warmer weather. Our other new releases are also crowd pleasers:
2010 TERO Red
TERO Estates 2010 S.T. (Super Tuscan)
Flying Trout 2010 Brook Blend
Flying Trout 2010 Old Vine Malbec
TERO Estates 2008 Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Events, events, events – oh, my! Chef Nathan Carlson from The Vine restaurant at Cameo Heights Bed & Breakfast sent an amazing sampling of small bites to our tasting room at the Marcus Whitman Hotel one Saturday – just because. Soy crepes with crab and mango, crispy cones filled with beet cream cheese, smoked asparagus wrapped in prosciutto… what a treat. TERO Estates & Flying Trout was the featured winery at The Vine for the month of April. If you haven’t checked out the restaurant, prepare yourself to be wowed.
Karen, from Trio Vintners, organized an all-winery event at the Marc for Mother’s Day. Moms were treated to complimentary wine tasting, and took home wine and wine-filled chocolates wrapped in a fancy gift bag. Thanks, Karen! Finally, we were ready to party this spring so for Cayuse release weekend, Flying Trout release weekend and Spring Release, we stoked up the bonfire, the pizza oven, had live music and poured yummy wines to a packed tasting room.
In addition to all of this, oodles of private tours have been booked at the winery. Thank you for calling in advance so Doug had time to get off the tractor, brush some dirt off, and greet you at the winery door.
We hope to see you soon!
