“But no matter, the road is life” ― Jack Kerouac, On the Road
Much of our life as winemakers is spent traveling to special places to pour our wines. If you had told us 10 years ago that we would meet people from all over the world at wine shows, have homes opened up to us for private dinners, be hosted by lovely wine shops, and be welcomed to five-star restaurants – all through a bottle of wine – we’d have asked what you’d been drinking. But in just three short years, we have made terrific friends wherever our travels have taken us. You never know where we’ll pop up. We recently poured our wines to a huge crowd at Vino in Spokane, and were the selected winery to pour at a private dinner in Spokane with folks we met at the Mark Rypien Foundation.
Later this month, we’ll be part of Celebrate Walla Walla – The World of Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Cabs are some of our highest scoring wines so we look forward to showcasing them. In July, we’ll head to Cork & Barrel in Bend to benefit KIDS Center, and to the Kirkland Concours d’ Elegance which benefits Seattle Children’s Hospital and LeMay America’s Car Museum.
We are grateful for all the opportunities these types of events have brought into our lives. Cheers.
